I just looked up some info on third trimester and it said the baby will start to move to the "head down" position around the 30 week time period. So maybe she is starting to move and the shift is putting pressure on the rectal muscles. I know all too well about the pressure you are talking about. I have muscle issues in the rectal area and went through several sessions of physical therapy for it. I did and still do lots and lots of stretching for the pelvic area. I don't want to sound gross, but what sometimes helps is if the pressure is really bad is to lay down on your side, use some k-y gel, a latex glove and massage the rectal area (inside and out). It helps the blood flow and if muscles are tight, may give some relief.

Since you have not had this before I have to believe that her positioning is putting pressure on some of those muscles. You may want to call your doctor and just run it by her/him.....at least they would be able to tell you if it's one of the symptoms of the third trimester.
