10 yr old son has IBS??????       09/29/08 09:03 AM Edit Reply Quote kaykelly Reged: 09/29/08 Posts: 1 My son became sick in March of this year, in which he had the sulfur burps. He has had bouts with diarriha every month(1-3) since then. His doctor thinks it is IBS although I am not so sure. Do you have Sulfur burps with this? He has also had a low grade fever and swollen neck glands 3 times since this has started. No one else ever gets sick from this. He complains of just feeling bad. The doctor did not check for anything at his annual physical last week. She feels it is IBS because of his anxity type tics, the mind gut connection,but shouldn't she rule out other possiblities. She did ask if any one in our family had Crohns. I told her not to my knowledge. She told me if I see blood in his stool to bring him back in. I plan to start the diet on this site asp. Does this sound like IBS? Any information will be very helpful.. Thank you Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
