I also had an ovarian cyst removed, about ten years ago. I'm now 29 and hubby and I spent 8 months trying to get pregnant, w/o fertility drugs. I'm now 19 weeks pg. IBS had no effect on that. I did use ovulation prediction kits because my cycle was so irregular. What's funny is that the month I finally got pregnant was the month I gave up and stopped taking the ovulation tests! I've heard similar stories from other women. I sometimes think that monitoring your ovulation so closely causes a lot of stress and anxiety, which can certainly inhibit your ability to conceive. You may not think you are stressed, but your body may feel differently. I didn't believe that at first, but eventually I did.

Has your husband's sperm been tested? Perhaps chlomid is not the right treatment for you. Are you seeing a fertility doctor, or just an OBGYN? I would be seeing a specialist if I were you.
