IBS & Pregnancy

I have been trying to get pregnant for over a year now. I found out that I had an extremely large cyst on my left ovary and had surgery to remove it. My periods are regular every 28 days. I have been on clomid off and on per my doctor. I have been tested for hormone changes and everything is ok. I have also been tested to be sure that I am ovulating (which I am now that the huge cyst is gone). However, I still can't get pregnant. I am not stressed until it's time to see if I am pregnant or not, and then I am a basket case! Any suggestions? Also, I have IBS with diarrhea. This usually only flares up right before my cycle is supposed to start every month. Does anybody know if this has any connection? Can having IBS affect my ability to get pregnant? Nobody I have spoken to thus far has an answer for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I am 29, but I wanted kids by now. Thanks for listening, hope somebody can help!
