But those pro-biotics are supposed to speed up your natural digestive transit (according to the advert!) I have been reading up on the fibre thingy too and apparently there are 2 types of fibre, soluble an insoluble. Soluble is the one which helps slow things down and we should have every day (benefibre etc)and insoluble is stuff like wheat bran which is not good for those of us with IBS D!
