He gets the patients interested in writing commercials that are true. Like for a laxative, a guy is screaming "I want to go to the toilet!" These ads a huge hit. The whole country is shouting "I want to go to the toilet!" There are lots of other great ads. The patients are doing better and no longer loony. They are rich. It is a great movie. Sooooo funny. gosh I think I need to rent it again. As to my all time favorite tummy commercial - Alka Seltzer. "Plop, plop, fizz, fizz. Oh what a relief it is." Catchy tune. Fizzy stuff bubbling up in a glass. Direct and to the point. My dad lived on alka seltzer. Some of the old ads were great. Mary Tyler Moore was a dancing refrigerator (Hotpoint, I think). And on Milton Berle (I think it was his show but could have been one of the other great comic variety shows) the Men of Texaco. "We are the men of Texaco. We work from Maine to Mexico." I forget the rest of the jingle but they would service your car and dance. And who can forget Mikey? Give it to Mikey, he'll eat anything. Fun thread. Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
