Tummy Tuck and IBS       02/20/08 04:04 PM Edit Reply Quote Mugsy Reged: 01/30/08 Posts: 5 Loc: Brampton, Ontario, Canada In June of 2000, I had a Tummy Tuck due to loosing 170lbs in a year and a half. I had a lot of pain from this. Lots of infection. Most of my pain was on my left side and went lower under my belly buttun and straight across. I experienced a lot of muscle pain in that area. Since then I have gained 80lbs back. I was diagnosed with IBS last June, and my life has been hell. Frequent trips to the restroom, and everyday I have severe abdominal pains, in the same area I had pains from my surgery. Is it possibloe that now I may have side effects from the sugery and the added weight gain, is contributing to the severe spasms I get everyday?
