I am not sure if this will help but I know my problems started after I had a hysterectomy ! I was told I had a prolapsed uterus and could live with it or have it removed.
The pain I guess was bareable but I decided after 3 times of hemoraging to have it removed!
When they went in to remove they found I had had a huge cyst on one of my ovaries that had burst so my removing everything we had hoped everthing would be fine.
I was good for around 6 months then I started with constipation………… This was hard as I was so used to NORMAL BM every day.
For 12 months I struggled had sweats pain cramps u name it I had it even with ibs c just like d, days were spent in the bathroom : unable to go out: Mornings were the worse. I am from the UK now live in the States my hubby travels a lot so even getting up to take my daughter to school was a killer. Not having family close by was sooooooooooooo hard. I understand it's hard for our hubbys but I am sure he is worried about you and at the least feels helpless to help u. This is the hardest part for our partners all of a sudden you're not the same person u were. This condition does take over and it's hard to get through the day without thinking about it and the hours spent wondering how to get control. After all that's what we're looking for to bring it to a level where we have control…………….. Just to be OK for a few hours at a time which result in bringing back our lives?

I don't think for a moment your weird this is a hell of a condition to come to terms with and to get to the stage where you function normally takes hard work: Unfortunately the pain and stress that goes hand in hand with the condition also takes us time to bring it to a level where we function normally again. Or to a level where were OK to face the world and it does at times take small steps!!

I too went through every test there was and each time they came back normal. Drs would look at me like it must all be in your mind! And I have told them more than once. PLUS I have SCREECHED at them… Look I am not crazy this is what I am going through yet none of them seem able to help. I was so ill at one time I felt like jumping off San Francisco Bay bridge LOL : {Maybe I should not say that} Not that I would but I never thought there was a way to end the condition. The sad fact is we go to Drs for help and they are clueless at times on this condition. Eat fiber lots of this that and the other that are all triggers!! I became so disillusioned with them I stopped going.

I am sure coming here you will find so much information that will help you: I have been a reader here for going on 2 years! I am finally in control, ibs does not control me. I have tried everything under the sun to get to this stage and you 2 will have good days and bad. I do feel though coming here was a Godsend. I use Heathers Acacia Tummy Fiber and I have found it does help. Not only help the condition but internally and emotionally I feel 100% better.
I firmly believe surgery can start a host of other problems so take each day as it comes, read read read on this forum & you will find the best information there is in helping u with ibs d……………………… I understand u have not been undiagnosed…………………but it is a start to helping u.
Today you feel at a loss it's a terrible feeling I know believe me I know but walk slowly and I am sure the people here and the information u will learn will guide you through and you will get there !!!

Sending out prayers to you : Check back in and let us know how you're doing!

Take care
