We're only renting a one-bedroomed flat at the moment and there's no way we can afford to buy a place because the housing market is ridiculously expensive over here and isn't due to settle for another two years. So, if we have children now will we ever be able to afford a place because we'll be on less income as i'll be working part-time. However, i suppose my husband could get a pay rise in the next couple of years. Also, my parents brought 3 children up when only my dad was working and earning a low wage. However, they didn't have to pay for their home.
