Zetia       01/31/08 08:44 AM Edit Reply Quote crnakaren Reged: 11/26/04 Posts: 3 I have been using zetia until I was just hospitalized for "diverticulitis" which the surgeon said was really IBS. I always knew I had IBS but was not really troubled when eating sensibly. All other causes were ruled out. Now I am wondering about the Zetia causing a really bad flare. A search on-line came up with anecdotal gut complaints which stopped when cutting out the zetia. In hospital my prescriber told me to stop taking it. I am now home and better.
