It's not "can't have." It's knowing or learning what your triggers are. Personally, I would eat the fries, but I can tolerate fried food. For a lot of others, it's a big trigger.
There are very few pizzas I will go near. Before I was really stable, once I had a bite of pizza and a bite of salad. About 20 hours later, BAM, a "memorable" attack.
You CAN "be included socially." You just have to choose carefully. If you don't, you have to be ready to deal with the possible consequences.
Personally, so long as I'm not dining at Juan's House of Cheese and Steak, I can find something to eat on just about any menu.
