Oh sweetie, I'm so sorry. I too have lost several "babies" through the years. It's normal to grieve, even if it's just for a pet, because they're a part of your life, part of your family. I always wonder about people who don't feel sad when their pet dies. I cried for every single one of my "babies" that passed away, even my grouchy hamster. I still cry sometimes when I think about them. It gets easier to cope with time, & when you're ready, getting a new "baby" to love helps too. Please know my heart is with you & the memory of your precious Sofia.
