So I do NOT want to undo my surgery. So when I was ttc I just took a chewable multivitamin (Viactiv). It doesn't have any iron. I want to avoid that since it can cause c. I told my fertility specialist and my OB up front. They both said it was fine. And I have my iron level checked regularly. Tomorrow I'll be 21w along. And my iron levels are still normal. So for now my regular multivitamin still works. I also take extra folic acid with it (1,000mg)...that's a Rx I got from my doc since the mv doesn't have enough of it. HTH.
