I live in Gloucestershire and am about 45mins to an hour away from Stratford upon Avon. It is the lovliest place to visit and especially see Shakespeare. In the summer it can be full of tourists but you also get to see things you wouldnt at other times like street entertainers and even those people that dress up as statues until someone gets close and gets the pants scared off them!! In the autumn (fall) it can be especially beautiful by the river with all the trees changing colour. I guess what I'm trying to say is that it can be beautiful over here at any time of year but as Clairews6 has said the weather is very unpredictable. Mind you that can be true of spring and summer as well as autumn and winter!!!!!
