I think your problems could be IBS but it's good that you're going to see a doctor to get the necessary tests. It's interesting that you can have ice cream though - but everybody's different. Just remember that IBS symptoms don't necessarily come right after a meal but can come later too, like the day after. Raw carrots are too tough to digest for some people with IBS.
