I had read another theory on this subject. The theory being, think back as far as you can do you remember having issues when you were a little kid? Basicly the idea (and I don't know if it's true so I hope I'm not crossing any lines with my post) is that when you are young and not living with any sort of stress then you probably didn't have any symptoms. I remember back having actual issues as I got older and I remember most of my sever attacks and usually they were brought on by some sort of stressor mixed with a trigger food. For example, when I was quite young I went to the movies with a friend of mine, there I had junior mints as a snack and got violently ill. It was the first time I had gone anywhere without either parent. Growing up I had a huge problem with change and lived in a very stressed out household..

Personally I did find that my symptoms got worse over the years. I was diagnosed when I was 10 years old back then I could still get away with alot of the things that are triggers now and I found about four years ago was my worst possible moment where just simple toast was making me ill. Since that breaking point it took alot to get back to where I was at least semi stable, after the hypno I was 95% stable and for the most part still am.. (I haven't been doing all that well lately though, just minor issues as I'm going to Toronto alone for work and it scares the hell out of me)

I'm sorry I was rambling, the theory is, if you could lead a completly stress free life then the symptoms would be damn near non-exsistant.. Again, I don't know if it's true but I did see the trend that as I got older and delt with more stress the more I was getting sick..
