Missed your post yesterday, I wasn't online.
Glad to hear your kitty is alright. My MIL has a cat that they pulled the fangs out of 8 years ago or so and she is still roaming around, mewing her heart out for attention. She is now 16 or 17. The vet 8 years ago didn't expect her to last without her fangs, but she is just fine. And she eats dry food too, without a problem. Only side effect of having her teeth out, she now drools when you pet her and she is purring!
Hope your kitty mends well! Good luck for the final countdown to the wedding!
