I am surprised because I thought he was such a great guy and so supportive. In the end I guess not. If he can't handle the restrictions of IBS then who needs him! You sound wonderful and positive even though you are going through such a rough time. I am really happy to hear that you are happy with your new job and that your tummy is behaving for you. I think you have a great attitude and plan to get through all of this. Sometimes family and friends see things in a relationship that you can't see and most of the time they don't want to say anything because you are happy.
