I seem to remember the GI Specialist telling me that they could make me C if I took too many, my dose is 3 max per day as needed. That being said I only take 1 pill when I am havin an attack an it does not make me C. It is hard for me to answer as an IBS'A-er cause sometimes I get C no matter what and vice versa.
