My dad got married for the first time at 18. They were too young and the marriage didn't last. Then my parents married when they were 27 (dad) and 29 (mom). And now they've been married for almost 24 years. So I always thought I'd marry later like my parents...then I met my guy. We've only been dating nine months, but he has the engagement ring picked out. My parents love him, and his parents love me. Best of all, my dad, who knows about marrying too young, approves of my decision, even though I'm only 22. When it's right, it's right. I sure went through my share of toads before I found my prince, I will say that!
