ask away with all those preggie questions - feel free to e-mail me anytime. I found my IBS didn't let up till the second trimester so good for you!!! As for the gas, same old same old. Fennel tea, the yoga gas positions, I did take tums a lot (Doc approved of course), eating slowly and all that stuff. The funny thing is that toward the end of pregnancy, well, gas has a mind of its own - there's no holding back, baby! But for now, just do what you normally would do for bloating and gas.
