Just to add my 2 cents worth...IBD, including colitis symptoms, has sometimes been caused from fungal poisons, one of them being antibiotics. What are your symptoms, by the way? I HIGHLY recommend the probiotics to put the good gut bacteria back in you. The antibiotics wiped it out! You could also take natural antifungals such as olive leaf extract or capryllic acid to speed the process of getting rid of the fungus. I had colitis for 8 years, on many drugs, and it wasn't 'til I followed an antifungal diet that I got well again, even when all my doctors told me changing my diet wouldn't make a difference....no drugs now, no symptoms. Cause/effect. Take care.
