Not sure how much good it will do, considering where I live. Mine is probably the only letter my local officials will receive. But I sent it & that's the main thing. Hopefully if we all do it, it will help. People w/IBS get overlooked. Yes heart disease is serious, so is cancer, my mom had it. But some types of cancer can be treated & the patient leads a normal life. For people w/IBS a normal life isn't always possible. Just because it's not one of the "maintstream" illnesses doesn't mean it should be ignored.
