Do you get your Insurance on your own or thru your job? If your boss offers it to you then he or she chose this plan. We have Blue Cross/Blue Shield and for three people it is over $1300.00 a month because we don't have alot of people on the insurance where I work. THe more people on your Insurance the less money you end up paying. If your boss chose he probably went with this one because it saves him money. If this is a group plan and you wanted to change and get on your own then you are right you would not be able to get it well, you could but you would be paying out your nose and they would not cover any of your issues for at least a year.
