insurance coverage       11/25/06 08:16 PM Edit Reply Quote jen1013 Reged: 05/06/05 Posts: 1322 Loc: the wabe If you're having troubles getting insurance, do whatever you can to be able to afford the COBRA payments -- beg, borrow, steal. (Okay, well, actually, I don't condone the stealing part.) Health insurance is one of those things you just don't want to risk going without. A couple years ago my only medical expenses were my yearly girly parts exam and fifteen bucks a month for birth control pills. The past year my medical bills have totalled about $96,000. Without insurance I would have been so screwed. I am completely flabbergasted that any insurance company would deny coverage just because someone has IBS. Do they only cover healthy people with no problems or what?? Geez.
