I can be at home fine for hours and the minute I get in my car and drive even just a few miles, I feel like I have to go and sometimes it's of the urgent nature Definitly mind games I'm sure! I absolutely can't stand it!!! I try to talk myself out of the pains and the urgency and just tell myself ok, 6 minutes till I'm home or wherever I'm going there will be a potty. It's totally frustrating! I'm so glad though that you posted this cause I was beginning to just think I was totally crazy!
Unfortunately IBS isn't considered as serious as say someone allergic to pennicilin or someone who has asthma and needs to wear a metal bracelet. We do carry, some of us, the periwinkle IBS bracelets like Lance Armstrong's yellow one, in our cars as just kinda a support bracelet. Shell might have already posted that to ya though. If not, email Shell and she can "hook ya up".
