The ovarian cyst is a mass that is a little smaller than a tennis ball. My doctor says it needs to come out and will involve a partial or total hysterectomy. I'm kind of in shock....but relieved, too. He said it is probably also the cause of my mood swings, IBS, nervousness, etc. So hopefully, this will take care of some of my problems.....and it's not just all in my head.
