Do you have diarrhea or constipation? I have the same problem with the pain, and I know what you mean... when it comes, there's nowhere to get away from the pain. I have D (diarrhea) and for me, anything that constipates me is like a vacation from the pain. I'm on long-term pain management and take Imodium before I eat. I also take an anti-spasmodic called Donnatal, which cuts the severity of an attack.
