I've been in that exact state you described- actually about 1.5 years ago after a stomach virus I ended up in the ER feeling like hell and in need of fluids more than anything else. Even had to go in an ambulance bc my wife was 8months pregnant and couldn't help me get there. You feel so helpless when you get dehydrated to a certain point. And then to have them turn you away while handing you the bill and crappy advice? Grr.. Well, IBS sucks - but I love the poem it motivated you to write! Just think 30 or so more poems and you could publish the first known book of gastro-intestinal inspired verse! ha anyway hope you're doing better -------------------- Ladies & gentlemen take my advice, pull down your pants and slide on the ice.
