IBS-C Hi Devin, There is a type of IBS where the sigmoid colon practically goes dead for an extended period of time. I have that. However, Once I was put on an SSRI, Paxil, it came back to life, not 100% mind you, but it's working good enough.I presume you're not taking an SSRI, so ask you GI doc about taking one.
