there are a # of things that can cause the lightheaded when standing thing- from low blood pressure to various issues with the inner ear/fluid in your ears- having had issues where I've been on bedrest for weeks at a time due to severe bouts of vertigo- the first sign of a potential problem and I'm calling the docs!
