I just joined today, bought Heather's book Eating for IBS. I am so glad it is not like all the other books have read about stomach/digest issues. This is the 1st one have ever read that tells you in detail what foods might work, recipes, tips, it is great. I read everything but the recipes last night. Normally half way thru a book about medical issue, give up half way thru it. Am 35, live in Arkansas, recently engaged, have two beautiful fur "kids". Work full time as desk clerk. At beginning of this year was diagnosed with IBD, it is the very beginning of UC, he wants to try it with diet. Was on meds for short time, got sick of them. I also have hitial hernia and gastritis. Finding info on those conditons, will one contradicts the other, and had basically give up, figured would have to deal with flare ups from time to time, plus having days where nothing stayed down. I went out bought some of the staples from this book, and going to start yoga/pilates again. So it so nice to find a book, website and other people that I can talk to. Because after awhile your loved ones, and friends, as much as they love me, do not quite understand at times. Quote:
