I had to laugh at your comment that "that's all it is." Plantar fascitiis is one of the most painful things you can experience, and it can be crippling! When I get up in the morning, I have to hold onto the bedpost, then the wall, then the door just to make it to the bathroom because those "first steps" are excruitating.
It feels like you are walking on knives and hot coals at the same time! And it can take up to a year to get rid of. Although I'm sure it doesn't sound serious to someone who's never experienced it, it can be crippling! I have had to turn down so many social activities because I cannot walk. Just walking from the car into the grocery store is awful!
My husband gets so frustrated with me because I walk so slowly, but it is so PAINFUL! You cannot imagine how bad it is until you have dealt with this.
