Not so reassuringly, he also said that he's never seen a prolapse like this in someone my age. The recovery time is pretty big; about a week in the hospital then a few more weeks out of the hospital. This is likely gonna wreck my work plans a bit, but it's something that needs to be done. I'm probably getting it done in mid-late July. I'll keep you guys posted.
