Irritable Bowel Syndrome Message Boards | My dd's heart is broken,she's been booted out of a wedding party.

I'm so angry with my husband's brother and his fiance right now!!! My 10yr old daughter(Rachel)was asked a year ago to be a jr.bridesmaid in the wedding party.I was under the impression this was a very casual wedding, it is being held outdoors at a Tavern with reception to follow, it is his 2nd wedding and her 3rd.They have both been horrible at planning this wedding or informing people of their change in plans or new ideas...etc. All this time i am assuming Rachel is going to be a jr. bridesmaid and i had planned to just let her wear the formal gown she had worn for my brother's wedding a year before,unfortunately it no longer fits Rachel,so i call Joy(the fiance) to ask what color dress i should buy Rachel,again still thinking this is a casual wedding.....she informs me that 'WE' already went dress shopping at a bridal shop, all the dresses were ordered and paid for already, that she already has someone picked out to stand up with BIL's 9yr old son"...she then tries to blame me saying she told me this a year ago........NO SHE DIDN'T!!! I even told her that she never told me anything at all about formal gown, fittings or anything!! She just says " sorry, but she can serve cake now if she wants"....SERVE CAKE???!!!!! How fricken rude and insulting is that? How do i explain to my sobbing,heart broken daughter why she was dropped?? OH im so angry with alcoholic witch right now.....my hubby is supposed to be an usher, but is ready to tell them to find a new one,and oh, by the way, the bride and groom expect to have gift opening here at my house the day after the wedding........im ready to tell her " oh ,sorry, i can't, i thought i told you that?!!"..........my poor daughter has been crying on and off all day, she is so hurt!!!!
