I hope you start feeling better soon. Here's a thought. The hypnotherapist I went to is also a Reiki master and told me that she uses meditation to control pain. She had hip surgery some time ago and meditation and hypnosis are so effective for her that she didn't need pain meds and was up and about before she was supposed to have been.
