I think my attacks are getting worse.

Is this a co-incidence? Just as I finally come to terms with what I'm suffering from, it suddenly gets worse? I usually have a fairly brief bout of D and then my system seems to be cleared out and I feel a bit delicate but generally OK for quite a little while before the next attack.

This last attack has been a couple of days now, almost unheard of for me, and in a week where I'm actually aware of what I've got and trying to sort it!

I suppose it's just delayed reaction now I've broken up for my Half term holiday. As a teacher I do often stay fit during the term and then get a cold during a holiday, perhaps now that's what's going to happen with my IBS.

And still almost 2 months before I get an official diagnosis.

Bad all day today really and I'm not stressed; in fact, I've been remarkably upbeat about the whole thing this week. I've been aware that I have "food sensitivites" for a while now so have already isolated most of my trigger foods and so am not having to make major changes to my diet.

Feel confused but not depressed - I've spent the whole week trying to let any minor annoyances float over my head; I know that if I get stressed about it, it'll just get worse.

At least I've a week off; gardening planned and as much gentle exercise as I can manage. Any words of wisdom gratefully recieved.
