Irritable Bowel Syndrome Message Boards | Wahoo.....I am officially a "cool mom"

My kids called today and wanted to go to Jack in the Box with their friends to celebrate the last day of school. I saw it coming as my daughter had told me that they had all gone to McDonalds the day before.

The kids didn't have money so I told them that I would meet them there, saw all the kids about 1/2 way there and stopped to give them a ride. I had about 13 kids in my Expedition (thank goodness it was only 1/4 mile away!) and one girl says "whose mom is she"?

I razzed the kids saying "didn't your parents teach you not to accept rides from strangers???????????????" They could have cared less.

So I bought my kids lunch and sat at my own table...two of the girls came and said bye to me, they call me "mom" and my daughter even came to sit with me for a minute or two and ALL OF HER FRIENDS COULD SEE THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have arrived....I am one of the mom's that all the kids consider "cool". My mom was a "cool mom" and I always prayed I would be as well. Yahooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
