It went super well. Tommy gave me great directions so I got there safe and sound but most importantly ON TIME...15 mins early even!!! That's a must for interviews so wihtout his help I might have been late as I always under-etimate how long it will take to get around the city.
The job is a design consultant position with a HUGE company. The interview was a pre-selection interview doen by only one person who was super nice. They want to narrow down the candidates and then they'll be a 2nd interview in Manhattan at the office the job's at.
She LOVED my portfolio. She showed me some pieces that they've produced and they are very similar to my style so I think that's EXCELLENT. She also told me that I'm super enthusiastic and positive which she said they were looking for.
They'll interviwing lots of people and I'm not surprised because what they're paying is HIGHER than any other company for this position.
Wish me luck that I make it to a second interview!!!
p.s. New shoes kill. Cute shoes=pain! And CVS nylons are NOT keepers! Mine got a run as soon as it put them on (but it was in the upper thigh and I used clear nail polish to stop it). Phew!!!
