Hi, Just a note. (warning i am going to wander a little here)I went through many self esteem and confidence questions growing up. It was always important to win or do very well at whatever I did. It got to the point where there was always someone else that would be just a bit better then I was and I knew I had already given it all I had so I gave up. Lots of things, one at a time until I found myself short on friends and things to do. What I discovered was it was not about being better then them but just being better FOR ME! Winning is not about a trophy or a position on th eboard, it is a feeling we carry inside. It was given to us by God when we are born and then mankind does whtever it can to take it away. There are too many people out there that need to be winners to feel like they are something or somebody. the real winners are those that know that they are doing the best they can and are happy with the results. Those goofy commercials from AOL with the guy on the bike and the dude stretching his hammies before the foot race tell so much more then speed. they show us that is what inside of us, our inner spirit, that puts us on a level that can be with anyone anywhere. It all falls with God. Find the peace you are seeking within yourself then everything and anything you do will be that much better and give you 100x the pleasure. You are not there to compete or make friends you are there to give yourself something to do, something to feel good about. That has nothing to do with anyone else. Last note... there is no greater feeling in the world then to do something for somebody else. Especially those they can not do for themselves. If you really want to find a hobbie that will not only make you feel FANTASTIC but actually help out this *&^%ed up world find a retirement center or childrens hospital and go read or just visit. Get involved in a church with outreach programs and go. I promise you, you will get no greater feeling then to have a small child in a hospital hug you and thank you for coming to see them. Or feeding a homeless family, or just listening to some seniors that their own children have forgotten. I hope this is ok for me to say all this. Take care and God Bless you,
