Plus with the bulk of a heavy sweater I used to put some kleenex in my armpits to absorb the sweat and change it from time to time. That worked very well actually. They actually make things called 'shields' that fit into your clothing and temporarily adhere to your underam area. I haven't tried them though, I made my own version with kleenex. Look: http://www.kleinertsshields.com/ Button up dress shirts are the WORST so I cannot even wear them. It's pointless!
