You are SUCH a sweetheart!
I think it was the popcorn. I love that stuff! Unfortunately, it's a big no-no for diverticulosis-ers. The nurse sent me lotsa good info on diverticulilitis, and it's changed my diet a LOT. I'm eating LOTSA fiber, only whole grains, no white bread or rolls, bran muffins with raisins, high fiber fruit and lotsa salads and veggies. It's amazing my colon hasn't exploded!
I'm also drinking lotsa water to help the fiber flush things through. It's all good stuff.
I'm doin' real well, thanks! I'll never touch a popcorn, seeds or nuts ever again. There were seeds in my whole wheat bread yesterday, but I caught it just in time and spit it out.
So tell me how YOU'RE doin'! How do you like not working? Have the retirement withdrawals set in yet? It took me 2 years to get over it; now I wouldn't think of returning to the work force. The trick is to keep your hand in some kind of work, maybe volunteer stuff. It'll help with the feeling of worthlessness.
On the other hand, you might not experience any of it; I hope not.
Thanks for posting. So good to see you around.
