I'm personally not an emetaphobe (sp?), but I know it can be an awful experience to get fight-or-flight when you see/hear someone throwing up. I got a flu shot in September after being hospitalized with a flu-like bug last March for 3 days (with a NG tube, awful). I'm so glad I got a flu shot because I watched BF get sick in January and I was sure I'd get what he had, but I never did. I think I owe it to the shot, because I doubt any super-resistance I'd have garnered after getting super-sick would have lasted until January!
