Hi Michelle, I've stayed in smoking rooms, but the stale smoke smell didn't bother me, I also usually smoked a cigar in the room myself<laugh>. Say, how can a B&B be scary?! Unless it's haunted or run by Yankees or both. That's all I can think of. Another solution to your problem is camp out! I'm sure the kids would love it. It's probably warm enough down there now too. -Bob
