Orange Irish       03/17/06 12:41 PM Edit Reply Quote Bevvy Reged: 11/04/03 Posts: 5918 Loc: Northwest Washington State Well, as far as I have been told, my mother's side of the family came from that part of Ireland where all the religious fighting has been going on for centuries. If there's anyone here from Ireland, perhaps they can shed better light on it than I; but I believe the Catholics are green and the Protestants are orange. I was always told to keep my orange-ness "under my belt," like it was something I should be ashamed of. Heck, I had nothing to do with no religious fighting! Still, I don't wear orange -- OR green; I wear beige.
