Ah yes.... potty trainning can be so much fun. We have always had labs,not much difference betwween the two, other than you get to deal with the long hair. We trained our labs by using a empty soda can....put about six pennies in it and seal it up. So when Dakota starts to potty inside, you drop the can and say NO!. The nosie alone will stop him. And you should be able to have him trained pretty quick. I got this info from one of our breeders. This can thing helps in other no nos too. Hey I still get up at night to take Sadie out sometimes.
