What a crappy situation to be in. he doesn't at all sound like her true love, and I only believe in staying with your true love,a nd your true love never treats you like that.
Even with a baby, she needs to go. I'm going to wax Dr. Phil here, but she needs to have that baby raised in a situation where love exists.
My dad and stepmom are married on paper only, and my dad cheated like mad on my mother, so they were the same...and let me tell you, it shows the children how to get into a miserable relationship and repeat the pattern. So even if there isn't abuse,the relationship should end for the CHILD's benefit. I can't tell you how messed up my relationship/logic was for so many years... because my dad is a chronic cheater and I've seen empty relationships in all of my mom and dad's relationships. It messed me up for years, and still, I have MAJOR trust issues.
So, tell her it's for the little one. God, it is so rotten to put them through all the infidelity and false love. My half siblings are SO messed up about love it's tragic.
