You're going to take it because you feel like you have to pee a lot, right? I have a very overactive bladder. I used to get up 7-8 times before I would even fall asleep at night...and then another 5-6 times during the night. When I got on Detrol, I only got up about 2-3 times a night - I know to some people that sounds awful, but it was WONDERFUL to me.
I was so used to getting up to pee, that being pregnant didn't bother me one bit during the night! It drove me nuts when people complained about having to get up twice when they were pregnant!

It says that the effects of Detrol stop when you stop taking it, but I swear I am still better off than I was before I took it. Now I'm up all the time with my newborn, so I pee every time I get up...so maybe I don't notice it as much.

Anyways - just wanted to make sure that that is why you want to take it?
