Okay - I have to brag!
I wrote an op-ed piece last week and got a call yesterday from the New York Sun. The piece is printed in the New York Sun Today. It's an opinion piece about Google's announcement that they will censure content and searches on thier China accessible website. At the behest of the Chinese government, They will be censuring content regarding human rights, religious freedom, democracy and publicity regarding human rights abuses in China. I find this disgusting in light of Google's fight in the US to be the paragon of freedom of speech and rights to privacy! That's in the op-ed though - so buy it, read it!!!

Yes, I'm bragging!

Oh yeah - it's not under my name because I worry about getting back into China and about how I might loose my job since I didn't get permission from them first about its content. I talked to a friend and we agreed to publish it under his name. The Byline is Erping Zhang - but I wrote it! Yay!
