You can also use WinZip (www.winzip.com) or WinRAR (www.rarlabs.com) to compress files (but I don't believe they will split them). Note: I've only used HJSplit to join files, so I don't know much else about it. Warm regards, EvilCats p.s. Maybe back up your program first and then try fiddling around on the copy of it, and see if you can compress/split/restore it. If that works you should be good to go.
